You all should know what a computer virus is. Computer viruses can spread itself. It can attach to other files on the system and when an infected file is executed on any other system, it infects all other files on that system.
Protecting a computer from viruses is not easy, but not very hard also. We can use antivirus programs to protect our system. If you want to use an antivirus program i would recommend AVG. I recommended AVG because of its speed and it uses a very low system memory.

About two days ago, WordPress has released the security fix for WordPress 2.5 version. This release contains several bug fixes and performance enhancement. It is highly recommended for users who are using the latest major release of 2.5 milestone to upgrade immediately, as the initial public release has a security vulnerability.
